The 2009 OCP Fishing Club / Current/ Contest Standing's.
OCP Fishing Club
7/7/09
The list includes all official current qualifying fish catches by species as of July 7th 2009 in our year long OCP Fishing Club Contest. The contest ends Oct 1st 2009. Awards presentation November 1st 2009 @ 12 noon.
You may calculate to value of these catches by multiplying the number of individual anglers registering in each specie category at the entry rate of ($10 per angler) and dividing that amount by the following percentages for each of the paying positions per category. They are 1st Place paying (50%) of all entry fees, 2nd Place paying (30%) of all entry fees, 3rd Place paying (20%) of entry fees for a particular specie/category of fish.
Example: Red Drum (23) ($230 is available)
23 entrants x ($10 entry fee/per angler/per specie) = $230
1st place / $230 x 50% = $115
2nd place / $230 x 30% =$69
3rd place / $230 x 20% = $46
Congratulations to these currents leaders.
The list comprises the top three qualifying catches by specie, the anglers name. its weight and the date the fish was caught.
King Mackerel (22) ($220 is available) No changes.
Manuel Bryant 3 lbs 7 oz’s… 6/24/09

* No qualifier is registered in 3rd position. Currently the 1st& 2nd place qualifier would retain 100% of the available specie category monies.
Cobia (5) ($50) is available. Currently there are no qualifiers registered for 1st, 2nd or 3rd positions in this specie.
We wish you all the best of luck! Please remember to join the excitement by entering our club contest during your next visit. There are no additional fees doing so other than pre-paying a ($10 entry) for at least one of the qualifying species of fishes. You may do so for as many additional species you would like. Pick your favorites and join the fun! Anglers are solely responsible for having fish weighed and verified for qualifying as entries. That process begins and ends at the tackle shop counter and must be completed with-in five minutes of the catch.
Full details and contest rules are available for your viewing on-line or in the tackle shop.
All weight ties broken by angler qualifying the earlier catch.
We do not retain any administrative fees for contests held here at Ocean Crest.
We're looking forward to having each of you join the other entrants in our 4th annual Ocean Crest Pier Fishing Club Contest.....................: D Dave OCP/LLC Tournament Director
